Safari related claimable events may be covered unless they involve professional sports or paid activities. The Comprehensive and Annual Multi-Trip plans offer up to $4,000 for personal electronics such as camera or personal computer, with a depreciation rate applied.

For specific safari gear, travellers can opt for specified item travel insurance cover, allowing for an increased limit beyond standard luggage coverage, without depreciation. Proof of purchase is required for claims. Specified item travel insurance cover is only available under the Essentials, Comprehensive and Annual Multi-Trip plans (overseas travel).

Travel Insurance Saver's online plans may provide travel insurance cover for safari related events in various destinations, provided those destinations are selected during the quote process.
